Roleplaying Digest | TRP Digest II
ShadowStalker @ 05:34, EST

¡Buenos dias, señores y señoras! It’s multilingual day here at the TRP Digest! Well, no, it’s really not. If I tried speaking anymore Spanish than that, I’d probably accidentally call my aunt a crack whore or something to that effect. In any case, this week’s TRP Digest is primed and ready to go for your viewing pleasure. This week, we have reviews from all stories updated since 15 July; also, a brand new feature for you will be the number of updates on each thread since the last TRP Digest. That way, you can know exactly how much, if anything, you’ve missed on the thread. Also in a quick aside, if a story has not been updated since the last Digest but still falls in the cut-off, it’ll be noted and the description will be the same as the last time. Don’t forget, if you’d like anything in here personalized, don’t hesitate to e-mail me. Alfonso the Dragon is quite nice about checking it six or seven thousand times a day.

By the way, a word on the timestamp. I know it says something like 5:30 AM. That’s not a mistake. Don’t ask me why, for the love of God.

Still nothing new here. All quiet on the southern front, as it were. Because these threads are on the bottom of the page, see. South is bottom? Get it? Neither do I.

That's all she wrote for this week! Forgive me again for the tardiness of the article; life's been busy of late, but hey, at least it's up, albeit at 5:30 AM when I haven't slept. Fie on sleep anyway.

Administrivia | Dies Irae Guidelines
ConfigSys.boy! @ 15:37, EST

For those wishing to take part in the Dies Irae storyline there is a thread in Universe Development regarding the story. M’lakMavet has laid down a brief timeline of the events of the invasion itself as well as some chapter guidelines. In addition the participants there have adopted a universal thread naming convention and there is currently a discussion surrounding the climate of Bella Omega and the physical environment as of the day of the landing. If you have any intentions of participating in the story this is definitely a must read. Also don’t forget that an Easy Read version of the IRC log wherein the meta-plot for Dies Irae was revealed is in the forums still, and there is a complete unedited version available for download here.

Roleplaying Digest | First New TRP Digest
ShadowStalker @ 19:45, EST

Greetings, authors and authorettes! Shadow Stalker here, bringing you the first update of the new TRP Digest! We’ll be reporting, in that fancy British accent that is the staple of journalists from Christiane Amanpour to that guy that does golf, on all the latest official and player fiction to come from the Tribes community. So toss a sixpence to the barkeep, get your arse a nice warm lager, and turn the tellie up full-on for this week’s TRP Update!

- Shadow Stalker

P.S. Just a couple of things to take note of. This update includes all “recent” stories, i.e. those updated last since 1 July 2003. If your story’s not on here, it’s because you haven’t posted anything on it recently, so don’t get a posse together and come to my door yelling “Witch!”, because trust me, Alfonso the Dragon is not pleasant when awoken suddenly.

Also, a word on the status. A story will be classified as one of four things: “open to the public”, i.e. open to anyone who wants to post; “open with author’s approval beforehand”; “closed to public” which means that only those invited are permitted to participate; and “completed”, which means what it says. If you have any ideas for new status names, or want to send me other various love/hate mail, send it to Paintball5320@aol.com and I’ll reply as soon as possible. Yes, I know I have AOL, and yes, I know it makes me lame. If you point that out, I sic Alfonso. And you don’t want that. Trust me.
